Luke & Autumn

Most people who know me know that I do not photograph weddings. I had a taste of it one summer and that was the end of my wedding photography career. When my niece asked me to photograph her wedding, I agreed (although a little begrudgingly). Part of me worried about making a mistake. Part of me worried it would be too much for me to photograph the wedding AND enjoy the long-awaited day. But, what I didn't realize until that day was that photographing her wedding was an absolute privilege. Because I was the one behind the lens, I got to have a first-hand look at all of the beautiful moments throughout the day...when her mama helped her with her dress...when Luke saw her for the first time...the sweet look her daddy gave her right before they walked down the aisle...all of it. To say the day was perfect and beautiful would be an understatement. It was perfect. Beautiful. God's presence could be clearly felt throughout the entire day. And, I got to be there for all of it. Thank you again, Autumn and Luke, for these wonderful memories. I cannot wait to see what God has for you both!
