Talitha {Class of 2014}

More beautiful senior girls!

Sometimes late at night when I am editing, my mind starts to wander. Something I end up doing is thinking about which famous celebrity the people in my photos look like. While I was doing Talitha's photos, I kept seeing Hillary Swank's face starting back at me. Am I crazy? Do you see it too? (Although, Talitha is much prettier than Hillary!)

Michael {Class of 2014}

I was doing the math the other day and realized I was two years away from getting married when this year's seniors were born! Talk about feeling old! Next up is Michael! I photographed his big sister a couple of years ago. It was so nice to see this family again.

We had some time at the end to do some family photos. This one is my fave...
And as a little bit of trivia for you, Michael and Kate (from my post right under this one) were born on the same day in the same hospital and ended up being family friends and neighbors all these years! Funny!

Kate {class of 2014}

It's one of my favorite seasons! Senior portrait season! And, one of my favorite subjects to shoot is senior girls! I love finding their best features and playing them up so they look absolutely beautiful! With Kate, that was a little difficult to do because she has SO many great features...how beautiful is she?

We did a few with her beautiful sisters as well. I love how different and unique each one is.

Hayden & Tanner

I have photographed these twins a couple of times and I am always amazed by how different they are!

During our session, anytime I would talk to Hayden, he would burst into HUGE tears! So, I learned to just keep quiet and let mom try to get the smiles. I love these with big brother though! Hilarious!

Gavin (& company)

I photographed little Gavin and his family a couple of months ago, and I could not believe the change just that much time had made for him! He looked like such a handsome big boy for our session, and he was so easy to work with...I could have photographed him all evening! Speaking of evening...I cannot remember the last summer I had where I had SO many perfect shooting evenings (which sort of makes up for the lack of Spring we had this year). It hasn't been too hot, or too windy, and the light has been just perfect. I wish I could bottle up some of this weather come January :(

LOVE those blue eyes! Mom sure picked the right shirt to compliment his eyes!

Here Gavin is with his big brothers and new puppy!

Woitzel family

I love this time of year...it's the time of the year when I start doing alot more family sessions instead of children's sessions. And, I have to say that I just LOVE to photograph families! There's something about being able to show how much a mom and dad loves their child in a photograph. Take this family, for example. I think it's clear to see how much they adore their little one. And, he is so precious. I just wanted to pack him up and bring him home with me at the end of our session. On this beautiful summer evening, the Woitzel family had me out to their gorgeous farm. These first few photos were taken in their barn. It was the cleanest barn I have ever seen in my life. I mean, you could seriously eat off of the floor if you had to. And how many barns can you say that about?

Bjur family

Some families are so comfortable being photographed, and this is definitely one of them! Love this first cheesy smile!

Our last session together, Ezra was a busy, busy toddler and we had to do a re-shoot to get a few more of him. This time, he was all "big boy" and ready for his session! So cute!
