This is always one of my favorite families to work with, and I love seeing the kids grow and change each year. Right in the middle of our session this year, I broke the cardinal rule of photographers: I filled up a memory card and I forgot my extra memory card at home! UGH! So, everyone had to wait patiently while I ran home to grab it. My thanks goes out to this family again for waiting for me! (And they were all hungry and ready to be done too!). Anyway, I love these!
Heyd family

Jack
I love seeing my friend Cheri from my career days when I photograph little Jack. Last time I did his photos, he was just starting to be mobile, and would pretty much stay put (at least long enough for me to take a picture!). This time, he was fully mobile and on the go! He also didn't have much time for smiles, this photo below on the left is about the only smile I got for our session, but smiles or not, he sure is cute!

Reese Family
I had so much fun photographing this fun family one beautiful fall evening. The lighting was terrific, especially for the photos we did in the grove. Beautiful!

Wendel Family
I have photographed this family a few times before, and it's always a bit of a three-ring circus (such is life with little ones!), but it's always fun.
I love the bright colors this mom picked out for indoor shots!
I didn't tell Rudi to stick her tongue out for this one, she just did it, which makes this photo even cuter!

Makenna & Harper
Makenna and Harper are such sweet little girls! It's always fun for me to photograph girls!
Harper is right in the middle of those hard-to-photograph years, but she is so incredibly cute! WHY are kids always at their cutest when they don't want to sit still long enough for me to take their photo? So cute!

Noah & Grant
When you are photographing kids, some sessions are better than others...it just sort of comes with the territory. I have photographed Noah and Grant a few times before and they are always so easy-going and fun to work with. Plus, their mom always does a PERFECT job of picking out the best clothes for them!

Karter, Chloe and Reis
My cousin brings her kids in for a photoshoot at the end of the summer usually. It's always fun to see her and to see how much the kids have grown since the year before!
We went from the studio to my favorite sunflower field. I have this recurring dream some nights where I am trying to finish a photoshoot and the sun is going down (it is sort of a nightmare because in the dream, everything is going wrong and the sun is slipping down and I am running out of time). This night, I was living out that dream (although nothing was going wrong, thank goodness!). We had a later-than-normal start to our session, and I was furiously snapping photos and keeping one eye on the sun. If you can handle the anxiety of the situation, it's always such a pretty time for photos.
Then, with only a few minutes left to spare, we headed over to one of my favorite bridges. I love the golden glow the sunset gives to these photos!

If you have an October or November session with me...
If you have an October or November session with me, please take a moment to email me at resolutionsphotography@gmail.com to get your email address back in my database. When I got locked out of my old email account, I also lost all of your email addresses I had stored. I apologize for the inconvenience.

NEW EMAIL ADDRESS
Most of you know that the primary way I keep in contact with all of you, schedule my sessions, and do just about anything related to my business is through email. The reason I do this is because as a stay at home mom, I never know if it will be a good time for me to answer phone calls (i.e. kids not screaming in the background!). This week, hotmail decided to lock me out of my email for good because they were convinced that someone had hacked into my email account. I tried numerous times to recover my account, but I was unsuccessful. I now have a new email address: resolutionsphotography@gmail.com If you have emailed me about a session and not received a response from me, please email me again using the new email address. I apologize for any delay in getting back to you.
